Free Walking City Tour Lugano

This tour is designed to let you know all the most important things about my city Lugano.
Starting from Piazza Bernardino Luini we will walk through the historic center until we reach Ciani Park where the tour ends.
We will walk through the street of luxury knowing its history, continue to the squares, the city hall building.
I will tell you about our history and the many anecdotes related to these corners.
You will find out where you can buy chocolate, Swiss cheese, watches and Swiss army knives.
Our local cuisine and where to enjoy it in one of the many restaurants downtown.

The walking tour takes 90 minutes. The route is all on level ground. Wear comfortable shoes. The walk is about 2 km, about 1.24 miles

We will discover five Lugano Instagrammable places in the city.In this tour some general information about Lugano is given without going in depth being more important to know the most beautiful places for your photos and leave a few minutes in each place to take memorable photos and videos.

This tour has the duration of 60 minutes. It is organized in the morning or late afternoon to get the best light.The tour route is about 1.6 km, approximately 1 mile. Half of the tour is downhill 220 steps  in san pietrini, cubic stone used for road pavement.

Lugano Orientation Tour

Lugano in an hour discovering the city’s strategic and most symbolic points.

Duration 60 minutes
Departure Lugano central station, arrival Piazza San Bernardino Luini. Or by request departure from Piazza San Bernardino Luini with arrival at Piazza della Riforma, this option is all flat walking.
Bring comfortable shoes. Approximately 220 steps to walk down towards the city center.
